I See Spotty...and Dotty

Spotty and Dotty are the beloved dalmations of friends. Both were rescues through the Atlanta Humane Society. Spotty (bottom photo) is the oldest and is deaf; when Dotty was adopted, the two became inseparable. I painted these pictures for my friend Lynn as a special "get well" gift.

Thank you, Marsha. They don't fit any of the "homework" assignments, but I wanted to do them for my friend. Now I have to get a frame for them; I have one in mind and will try to post a photo of the finished project.

Thanks, Karen. Dotty was a little more difficult, as she had more spots. Whew! I've been seeing spots all afternoon. I hope to frame them tomorrow and will post a photo if they turn out ok.

Holly, thanks for the comment. The encouragement from you and Karen on Sunday helped keep me focused on completing both of them. I'm on my way to the frameshop this morning. Will post a photo of the finished project later.
